In 2007 NBC launched a fourth hour of Today after cancelling soap opera Passions. The fourth hour would later evolve into a show-within-a-show, hosted by Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. Originally, however, it stayed much closer to first hours. Ann Curry, Natalie Morales and Hoda Kotb were the original hosts. To promote the fourth hour, 615 Music was commissioned to compose a promo campaign. An instrumental version of this music was used as the show open for the fourth hour.
