Since February of 2022 CBS News has been using a new theme for its Special Reports. It’s used both on the main network as well as the streaming service.

This doesn’t hold a candle to James Horner’s “Special Report” cue. Not even close.
This sounds so generic. Sad they downgraded from the iconic, attention-grabbing music they had before.
I have to admit, I also miss the previous theme from 2016. Would it be possible to get that uploaded?
Nowhere as good as the previous. The Special Report shouldn’t really be touched since its whole legacy is to grab attention.
